After you finish the installation of the charging station, configure the parameters of the station.

The charging station may come pre-configured if the customer specified their preferences during the ordering process. In such instances, the charging station is ready for immediate use. Nonetheless, it is strongly advisable to review the configured parameters to ensure they align with the user's specific requirements.

The charging station can be configured via the INCH Core mobile app or a central system known as the charge point management system.

For more information on the mobile application, refer to the INCH Core app.

  1. Open the INCH Core app.

  2. In the Main menu, select Charging stations.

  3. Add the charging station to the Charging stations screen. Once you have successfully added it, the app guides you to scan the charging station’s QR code found on the installer interface.

The scanning of the QR code is needed for pairing the app with the station.

  1. (Optional) In case you want to install Load Guard during the installation of the charging station, pair it with the station before installing the front cover on the Main unit. Approach the Load Guard close to the front of the LED and button area to pair it with the module using RFID.

The pairing of the Load Guard with the charging station can also be done at any later time when the front cover is removed. The pairing cannot be done when the front cover is in place.

For more information, refer to the INCH Core Load Guard user documentation.

Once the front cover is installed, the installer interface mode switches to the end-user interface.
When the front cover is not in place, the charging functionality is disabled and is not possible.
