PLC modem HOME PLUG Diagnostics

Icons on the PLC modem



PowerLine

  1. The PowerLine icon indicates whether the modem is connected to the PLC network (i.e., paired with another PLC device).

  2. If the icon is on, the modem is connected to the PLC network.

  3. If the icon is off, the modem is either in power-saving mode or not yet paired with the PLC network.

  4. If the icon is blinking, the modem is actively transmitting data over the PLC network.

Ethernet

  1. The Ethernet icon indicates whether the modem is connected to an Ethernet network.

  2. If the icon is on, the modem is connected to the network, but no data is being transmitted.

  3. If the icon is off, the modem is not connected to an Ethernet network.

  4. If the icon is blinking, the modem is actively transmitting data over the Ethernet network.
